PhilHealth Contribution Calculator

Employee and employer PhilHealth premiums at the 5% rate, with the ₱10,000 floor and ₱100,000 ceiling.

Updated October 2026. Based on 2024-2026 BIR tax tables, SSS, PhilHealth, GSIS, and Pag-IBIG contribution schedules.

PhilHealth premiums for 2024–2026 follow Republic Act 11223, the Universal Health Care Act. The rate is 5% of the monthly basic salary that falls inside the premium base. That base has a floor of ₱10,000 and a ceiling of ₱100,000. Half is the employee share and half is the employer share, so you pay 2.5%.

The floor is the line people miss on a probationary salary. Basic pay of ₱8,000 is still computed from ₱10,000, which is ₱250 from you and ₱250 from your employer. The ceiling works the other way: basic pay above ₱100,000 stays at a ₱5,000 total premium, ₱2,500 per side.

What this calculator uses

Type monthly basic salary. Allowances are not added. The employee share here is the same PhilHealth line the net pay calculator deducts. The employer share is shown so you can see the full premium, and it is not deducted from net pay a second time.

The bracket summary is on the contributions guide. A longer walkthrough is in the PhilHealth contribution guide.

At ₱8,000 the tier is below the floor, and both sides still pay ₱250. At ₱30,000 the premium base is the salary itself: 2.5% is ₱750 from the employee. Check the amount against your payslip. Employers sometimes compute the premium on gross pay that includes allowances, which is a different base than basic salary.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PhilHealth premium rate for 2026?+
The premium is 5% of the monthly basic salary used as the premium base, split equally: 2.5% employee and 2.5% employer. The base cannot go below ₱10,000 or above ₱100,000, so the employee share stays between ₱250 and ₱2,500.
Why is PhilHealth the same below ₱10,000?+
The premium has a floor. A monthly basic salary under ₱10,000 is still computed from ₱10,000, which means ₱250 from the employee and ₱250 from the employer.
Does my employer’s half come out of my salary?+
No. The employee share is the payslip deduction. The employer share is a separate cost and is not subtracted again from take-home pay.
